Storia Della Parrocchia Santa Famiglia, Fano, Italia

History of Santa Famiglia Parish, Fano, Italy

Our Parish came into being at the end of 1982.  At the beginning we were without the present church but had a simple wooden building where Don Vincenzo, our Parish Priest since that time, celebrated Mass, and all other activities took place.  Even after the church was built, we remained very much attached to that building and it is for that reason that our community very much wanted Nazareth House, a house of welcome which gives shelter to unmarried mothers in difficulty, to rise in the very place where we came into being as a parish and in that very place there is a Blessed Sacrament Chapel, which incorporates the original wooden building.
